Great speaker with bass!

As a preface, I have the JBL 310 speaker for my kids sports walk up and backyard pool and parties. That said this Soundcore speaker packs a punch and goes almost as hard! The addition of the "spatial audio when you turn the speaker on its side is a noticeable difference, and to me sounds better. As far as backyard in a neighborhood, it is easily loud enough to make the neighbors wanna come over and check out what's happening. The speaker only weigh 20ish pounds so no need for wheels and it is easy to maneuver. The cabinet seems to be built to handle being moved around, and it is really nice that the microphones have a holder on the back of the cabinet so they won't get lost. I also stored the charging cord in the pull down panel cover where the charging port and other connectors are.The Sundocre app is really easy to use and helps when connected to the speaker via Bluetooth. Connecting is as easy as any other BT device. Hit the pair button and find it on your device. Once connected there is an EQ, light command, AI voice % control, and other Soundcore options. Overall it feels like any other interface and is very intuitive.Karaoke - so I used the speaker with Spotify and YouTube. It does a really good job fading out the voices and if you are not listening very carefully you would not know that the song ever had voices. The mics are easy to use and connected very easily by turning them on. Here is where my one star deduction comes in. The mic has a micro second lag when you first start to talk/sing. Once it gets going it is synched up timing wise. It is just that first part of the first word. I wonder if it is confusion with the AI track vocals elimination. Minor thing to have the fun wit hthe family singing w/o a subscription service or buying non-vocal version of the song. Side note: you can use the lyric on Spotify to sing karaoke!

Thi thing is wild

This system is pretty amazing. It does a lot without being overly complicated. I love anything from Anker and this doesn't disappoint. The build quality is solid, it looks really cool, and works great. It weighs in at 23lbs. It's loud and sounds great. It has a large battery. The mics automatically pair and also have a really solid professional feel to them. You can control it with the buttons on top and/or from the app. The app allows for more fine tuning of certain settings, like the level of AI vocal removal, custom color schemes, EQ values, voice effects, and reverb type. However, once you dial those in, the buttons on top of the speaker are pretty much all you need to turn on/off AI voice removal, bass boost, EQ, etc.The AI vocal removal is wild - press a button and the vocals disappear without any real noticeable effect to the music quality. The level of removable can be controlled in the app, so you can choose to leave some vocals in the song to help balance out your singing. There is also an 'auto' mode that will fade the original vocals in/out to fill in gaps if you stop singing. The price is up there, but feels somewhat justified with the build quality, UI polish, and features. The only thing that could make it better would be to show the lyrics while songs are being played. Maybe the AI voice removal could do that in the future, or maybe it could recognize the some and use a web service to fetch the lyrics. Apps like Apple Music can already scroll lyrics in sync with a song, so it is not totally necessary.

Cool speaker with room for improvement..

The main attraction with this party speaker is the wireless microphones and vocal suppression mode. Other speakers have vocal suppression, but this speaker doesn't about as well as I've seen. The mics work fairly well, but they can cut out at times and the lowest volume level is pretty loud. Speaker battery life seems quite a bit less than advertised. The microphones themselves require two AA batteries each, bit rechargeable. The sound quality is solid and bass comes through well enough, but the deeper bass is a bit lacking. Some bass tracks will also cause some rear port chuffing, which can be a bit annoying. The Soundcore app allows you to adjust EQ and light settings..Overall, a good first effort by Sound ore at a karaoke style party speaker, but certainly room for improvement.

I am a Vine reviewer who actually opens the box, really tests, really evaluates, and writes really honest unbiased reviews of products. In *just* the past five years alone, I have listened to, handled, tested, and evaluated hundreds of Bluetooth speakers as well as having written almost a hundred reviews. I bought a LOT of them, some costing over $500. But I would only ever *objectively* compare a speaker based on its price and size compared to similar speakers in its "class". Speakers costing more than a speaker in a review are not considered. And I don't mention competition.Having written that, I note that there are a lot of reviews concerning this speaker, especially the karaoke aspect of it, so I will only mention what I objectively discovered while reviewing this speaker.Since the release of this speaker there have been a LOT of reviews on the internet, most of them extremely favorable, which I agree with. I am very discerning when it comes to listening to music, I want it to sound like it did when it was made. Since Bluetooth speakers really can't reproduce music that faithfully, (few speakers can actually) I'm constantly looking for the "best" at reasonable price.I like this speaker. I'm now willing to lug this thing outside as my go to speaker when in the yard doing whatever even though it's barely portable (for an old person anyway). I've been listening to this speaker for a couple of weeks now, and I'm very impressed. I've bought a lot of Soundcore products and for the most part they really deliver for the money. I'm always looking forward to Soundcore new speaker releases.I've always been puzzled however why Soundcore releases products with a flat EQ. It seems to cause bad reviews from people who aren't willing to use the embedded ap to "fix" the speaker. Once the EQ is adjusted, this speaker is outstanding. The bass output from a small 6½" driver is phenomenal outside in the yard from at least a hundred feet away. I did not expect that. None of my other "big name" (and a few more expensive) speakers will do that. Inside my basement shop I hear stuff rattling all over the house that I never heard before. Very impressive.I usually don't turn my speakers up very loud so I rarely find a speaker that will deliver good bass at low volume. That includes this speaker, (still better than most) but once you get around 40% or so this unit really begins to shine. I'm sure that most people will use a speaker like this at those volume levels anyway. The high frequencies, once the EQ is adjusted are also impressive. I almost always max out the treble on everything because that is what I personally prefer, and this speaker delivers, really crisp and sharp with awesome vocals. I acknowledge that everyone prefers something different, but for me, this speaker does a fine job across the sound spectrum. As far as the lights, looks good in the dark with a few different sequences. Again, personally, I always turn lights off, which I'm glad is an option.Other people, including the internet reviewers have commented on the remarkable ability of this unit to function as a karaoke machine. I'll let my kids deal with that, I mainly wanted a great speaker, which I got.Very recommended machine.

Wow is this booming. Shocked at how much bass this has. Quality sounds great and the mc funtion is awesome. Coming with 2 mics is a nice touch and they work great. Lighting is cool and the volume indicator, although id prefer a volume indicator on the top control.
